Drinks

These healthy drinks for kids are a great way to hydrate and nourish your little ones! Especially in the world of juice boxes and soda, our kids need all the nutrients and wholesome food they can get. In this category, you’ll find posts about homemade smoothies and other beverages to satisfy your child’s thirst.

I especially like to share recipes for smoothies because they’re so delicious and are a great way to sneak extra veggies, like this tropical-flavored green smoothie. It’s green thanks to a handful of fresh spinach, but tastes like creamy mango and coconut.

This strawberry banana smoothie without yogurt is a fun way to invite your child to consume even more fruit with a little milk to add nourishing fat, protein and calcium.

These healthy smoothies for kids can be enjoyed as a snack or served with their meal. I especially love to serve smoothies with breakfast as I can offer some scrambled eggs or high protein waffles to fill them up, too.

My Feeding Philosophy

I get it. Feeding kids can be tough.
I’ve learned that the key to getting kids to try new foods is to keep it fresh and exciting, get them involved, and inject a little enthusiasm and creativity into how you serve them up. Above all else, don’t give up. If you’re serving balanced meals and snacks throughout the day, then you’re doing a good job!
