Ninja Fruit Smoothie Recipe

Serve your little one a healthy, nutrient-dense smoothie for breakfast with this easy Ninja fruit smoothie recipe! This little blender makes the best, creamiest smoothies in no time at all and is perfect for kids of all ages!

Ingredients
 

  • 1/2 cup milk of choice
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 medium frozen overripe banana cut into quarters
  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries or mixed berries
  • 2 teaspoons chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter (optional)

Instructions
 

  • With the vessel installed onto the motor base of the Ninja Bullet blender, add ingredients in the order listed: milk, Greek yogurt, frozen banana, frozen berries, chia seeds and almond butter (if using). Secure the lid.
  • Turn the unit on by pressing the power button, then press the Start/Stop button for the 30-second blend mode.
  • When blending is complete, press the power button to turn the unit off. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For the best texture, flavor and color, this smoothie is best consumed right after making it. It starts to lose some of its vibrant color and refreshing thick texture if left too sit too long.
  • For optimal sweetness, use a frozen overripe banana (the brown spotty kind).
  • You can sub in mixed frozen berries for the frozen blueberries.
