Ingredients

  • 1/4 watermelon
  • 1-2 apples, washed
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 24 fresh blueberries, washed
  • 8 fresh strawberries, washed and stem removed

Instructions

  • Cut the watermelon into slices about 1 inch thick. Using a small star cookie cutter, cut out 8 stars.
  • Cut the apples into slices about 1 inch thick. Using a small cookie cutter, cut out 8 stars. Spritz with a bit of lemon juice to help prevent browning.
  • Get out 4 thin skewers. Poke on 3 blueberries, 1 apple star, 1 strawberry with the point facing upwards, and 1 watermelon star. Repeat this pattern. Complete this pattern on the remaining skewers. Serve immediately for the best taste and presentation.
