Fruits

Fruits are truly natureโ€™s candy! Theyโ€™re the easiest fresh produce to get kids to eat and I love to serve my children fresh fruit several times a day.

Plus, theyโ€™re incredibly versatile and can be enjoyed fresh or mashed, blended, baked or pureed!

For example, you can turn whole apples into applesauce and then use them to sweeten applesauce oatmeal cookies.ย

I love using ripe bananas in these banana oatmeal pancakes for baby, 3-ingredient banana oatmeal bars, or even to sweeten this easy banana French toast!

You can blend fresh or frozen fruits into the most delicious and creamy smoothies for kids, like this green smoothie with frozen mango or strawberry banana smoothie without yogurt!

I love adding fresh fruits, like sliced berries, to the top of these 3-ingredient protein waffles or over the best yogurt for babies.

For even more sweet treats & healthy snacks, check out my ebook Healthy Little Bites! Iโ€™ve shared 40 of my favorite make ahead treats to make it easy to feed and nourish your little ones even on a busy schedule.ย

My Feeding Philosophy

I get it. Feeding kids can be tough.
I’ve learned that the key to getting kids to try new foods is to keep it fresh and exciting, get them involved, and inject a little enthusiasm and creativity into how you serve them up. Above all else, don’t give up. If you’re serving balanced meals and snacks throughout the day, then you’re doing a good job!
