Nut-Free

Looking for nut-free recipes for kids? This category has all of my nut-free snacks for kids in one handy place!

This is a great place to find make ahead snacks you can prepare in advance, freeze, and pack in your kid’s lunches for a healthy treat. You’ll also find a variety of fantastic healthy breakfast ideas and meals to feed your little one nourishing, healthy meals and snacks every day.

As you can see below, there are lots of nut-free recipes to choose from! Absolutely none of the recipes on this list contain any nuts or nut butters, so you don’t even have to worry about substituting sunflower seed butter (although that’s a great option too!).

Make these high protein waffles using just cottage cheese, eggs, and oats! They’re perfect with some fresh berries and yogurt on top.

This easy banana French toast uses ripe bananas for sweetness and tastes wonderful with a little syrup or fresh fruit.

Does your little one love cookies? Try these applesauce oatmeal cookies or 3-ingredient cookies made with chocolate chips, oats, and banana. No nuts required!

For a nut-free sweet treat that’s loaded with healthy spinach, try these green monster muffins! They’re perfect for packing in lunchboxes or serving with breakfast.

My Feeding Philosophy

I get it. Feeding kids can be tough.
I’ve learned that the key to getting kids to try new foods is to keep it fresh and exciting, get them involved, and inject a little enthusiasm and creativity into how you serve them up. Above all else, don’t give up. If you’re serving balanced meals and snacks throughout the day, then you’re doing a good job!
